Atari documentary about ET landfill site air date announced

Everyone remember the discovery that Atari had buried a substantial amount of ET cartridges? Well a documentary has been made about it all. The Documentary was announced by director Zak Penn on twitter and will be airing on Xbox November 20th.

The Documentary will also cover the rise and fall of Atari in the 1980’s but mainly focusing on the 750,000 unsold ET cartridges. It was also claimed Atari paid millions to gain the rights to make the ET video game but in the end it ended up being highly criticised by critics and gamers so much so it was blamed for home consoles becoming less popular, until Nintendo arrived.
